Rutgers now has 650 pounds of talented O-Linemen in its 2016 class. 6'7", 335 lb. Justin Morgan of Brooklyn's Poly Prep committed to Rutgers on the spot after receiving an offer at the Big Man Academy Friday night.
Morgan joins Nick Krimin as the second O-line commit, and becomes the fourth Brooklyn player to join this class, with Poly Prep teammate Elias Reynolds and Grand Street receivers Taysir Mack and Ahmed Bah.
Kyle Flood has figured out how to pick the lock on Brooklyn and NYC generally, and that's a great development.
Justin Morgan just received his offer and committed to #Rutgers.

Todderick saw it coming earlier in the evening.
I expect #Rutgers to offer Justin Morgan. He's only 16 and has played one yr of football. Seems to like Rutgers, too.

Justin Morgan. Says he's 6-6, 339. Already holds Pitt & Illinois offers. Could earn one from RU w/ a strong 2nd half. pic.twitter.com/JRI3sBH4iC

Morgan's hudl tape is locked, so we can't comment on his highlights, but he had offers from Pitt and Illinois. This is Wisconsin-size beef, homegrown in our own backyard. Krimin and Morgan should be able to give Anthony Russo plenty of time to throw the rock.
Welcome and congrats Justin!
