College football expert Phil Steele released his preseason all-conference and All-America teams on Monday, with two Knights landing on All-America teams and eight being named to All-Big Ten teams.

Wide receiver Leonte Carroo and kick returner Janarion Grant were both named to preseason All-America teams, with Carroo landing on the third team and Grant on the fourth team.  Last year, Carroo led the Knights with 55 receptions for 1,086 yards and 10 touchdowns and is the only returning player in the conference with over 1,000 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns.  Grant was fourth in the Big Ten last year with a 25.3 yards per kick return.

Both Carroo and Grant were named to Phil Steele's 2014 All-Big Ten team.

Carroo and Grant were both named to the All-Big Ten team, along with linebacker Steve Longa.  Defensive tackle Darius Hamilton earned second team honors, offensive linemen Chris Muller and Keith Lumpkin and defensive end Kemoko Turay landed on the third team and linebacker Quentin Gause was named to the fourth team.
