Was there anybody who didn't love Michael Burton's heart and attitude?
Was there anybody who wasn't pulling for him?
Everyone had to wait for the fifth round, but with the 168th selection, the Detroit Lions selected the walk-on and Long Valley native. And it apparently was influenced heavily by former Rutgers OC Ron Prince, now with the Lions.

Everyone seemed to like, if not love, his attitude and gritty performance. NFL Network's Mike Mayock called him a "thug" in the best possible terms. And he graded out very well among fullbacks.
Lions 5th round pick Michael Burton played 631 snaps for Rutgers and had highest production grade of any FB in the FBS in 2014
