Former Rutgers star running back Ray Rice is set to have his domestic violence charges dismissed by a New Jersey judge after completing a pre-trial intervention program.

Rice applied for the program last May that allows first-time offenders to have their charges dismissed, given that they complete the one-year program.
Although Rice will not be convicted, the arrest still remains on his record.
Since the Atlantic City incident in February of 2014, Rice has yet to play a game in the NFL. The Cowboys' signing of Greg Hardy and the interest in Adrian Peterson provides optimism that teams may gave Rice a chance now that the charges have been dropped.
ESPN sports business reporter posted a survey on Twitter, asking fans to weigh in on whether they would support their team signing Rice.
