Quite frankly, there is a lot going through my head at this point.
Of course I will have complete in depth analysis on the Rutgers season in the coming week.
For now, my thoughts can only be expressed in bullet points.
- Kyle Flood's 2015 season leaves Rutgers no choice but to fire him, whoever's job that it
- Joe Rossi should be locked in a closet for the rest of his life where there are no footballs or offenses anywhere to be seen
- Ben McDaniels was pretty good, but was severely limited with the talent that injuries and stubborn head coaching dealt him
- McDaniels isn't head coach material, but I'm not opposed to him sticking around if he is asked to
- Alex Barbir can't get to Rutgers soon enough. Kickoffs we're maybe the team's most glaring weakness
- The DBs were exactly as I expected: raw. They have talent and definitely showed improvement this year
- Steve Longa would be wise to return. If he leaves, the linebackers could be in trouble
- Janarion Grant led the country in total return TDs (3 kickoff, 1 punt, 4 total)
- Joey Roth ended the season on a high note, averaging nearly 50 yards on 5 punts in the finale
- Chris Laviano cannot be the starting QB next year
- Kemoko Turay was clearly injured the whole year, he only had 2 sacks
- Jimmy Hogan emerged as a great defensive end who should play a lot next year
- Kevin Wilkins should take over as the starting NT next year, but Sebastian Joseph should still play a lot
- The offensive line was incredibly inconsistent, and will lose their best player (Keith Lumpkin)
- The O-Line will return 4 starters, but they may shuffle around to replace Lumpkin at LT
- It was a pretty disappointing season for Andre Patton, who was expected to have a big year
- The Rutgers defense allowed the 2nd most yards in school history (2014)
- This was the worst Rutgers team since 2003
- 3 different running backs amassed 500 yards, which is a Rutgers first
- Carlton Agudosi should've been on the field 4000x more than he actually was
- Leonte Carroo is the most dominant player I have ever seen play for Rutgers
- Leonte Carroo is probably the 2nd best player in Rutgers history (Ray Rice)
- I would pay big-time money to be a fly on the wall in the Flood-Barchi-Herman meeting
- I have never felt more sympathy for a college football player than I have for Hayden Rettig
- P.J. Fleck is our new head coach to lose
