This NFL season has seen a number of ups and downs from former Rutgers stars. This trend was relevant for Week 11 as well, but this week in Knights in the NFL I want to focus on one player that has been on the "up" side of this trend for most of the season. In his 3rd season, we have seen Logan Ryan emerge as a key component of an underrated Patriots' defense.
Ryan had another tremendous performance on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills, and it seems as though Pats Nation, as well as the whole League, is finally taking notice. Ryan played in 71 defensive snaps last night, leading the team with 9 tackles, one of which went for a loss. He also allowed just 2 catches for 13 yards, including a pass breakup while covering Robert Woods. Ryan has now recorded 50 tackles this season, as well as a team-leading 4 INTs. Ryan is the obvious choice for the Scarlet MVP of Week 11, and may even be having the best NFL season of any former Rutgers star.
Patriots' secondary is in good hands with emergence of Logan Ryan. Check out my feature on the third-year cornerback https://t.co/FQpZf8zBOR

QB rating throwing at Logan Ryan is 59, per @PFF, 7th best in NFL

As of last week, the only CB to have more INTs than Logan Ryan (11) since 2013 was Richard Sherman (12), who's played 914 more def snaps
