Finally Rutgers fans, some good news!

Hamilton says he'll be back regardless if there's a coaching change. "I'm a Jersey guy," Hamilton said.

Obviously this is great news because the defense is expected to get better with a good deal of the starters returning. The addition of Hamilton will provide not only a top-tier player but an incredible leader who will enter his third consecutive season as a captain.
With a head coaching change seemingly on the horizon, Darius Hamilton is exactly the type of player a new coach wants in their program.
Hamilton started the year as a senior but redshirted due to a lower body injury that witheld him from most of camp. He only played in the Penn State game and played minimally and failed to make an impact. With uncertainty surrounding the head coaching position at Rutgers, the fear around the fan base was that Hamilton would go to a big-time school as a graduate transfer and would not have to sit out.
Once again, this is great news and gives Rutgers fans a reason to be optimistic!
