Two more former Rutgers stars are getting another opportunity with NFL squads. Yesterday, Khaseem Greene was signed to the Detroit Lions practice squad, while Andrew Turzilli was added to the Tennessee Titans' active roster.
Greene played last season with the Chicago Bears, appearing in 25 total games for the team, before being released in May. He then spent the preseason with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but was unable to make the final roster.
The Lions added WR Corey Washington and LB Khaseem Greene to their practice squad.

After suffering a high ankle sprain during training camp and being placed on IR, Turzilli was signed off the 49ers' practice squad onto the Titans' active roster. This signing comes the day after WR Justin Hunter was placed on IR, leaving the Titans thin at wide receiver. As the Titans have a short work week with a game on Thursday against the Jaguars, Turzilli's retention of the offense from his time in the Titans' training camp will be crucial for him to possibly make contributions in Week 11.
The #Titans added WR Tre McBride and WR Andrew Turzilli to the active roster.
