Class of 2015 linebacker Trevor Morris (Malvern Prep) has been selected to play on the 2015 U.S. Under-19 National Team. He is one of 41 players chosen across the country to play against Team Canada on Saturday, February 7 at the University of Texas-Arlington.
Morris led Malvern Prep to a 7-4 record this past season. He has played all three linebacker positions for Malvern Prep during his high school career, including a junior season in which he recorded 10 sacks and an interception. Fellow teammate and current Miami (FL) commit Hayden Mahoney will play for the team as well, and Malvern Prep's head coach, Aaron Brady, will join Morris on the U-19 National Team as linebackers coach.
Other New Jersey natives selected for the team include current Michigan offensive line commit Grant Newsome (The Lawrenceville School), Virginia RB commit Olamide Zaccheaus (St. Joseph's Prep), and WR Vinny Papale (Bishop Eustace), son of former Philadelphia Eagle Vince Papale.
