Although they will not be able to sign for another year, Rutgers staff is hard at work trying to impress 2016 recruits. Some of our top targets, and one commit, will be on campus Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday, 2016 QB target Dwayne Haskins, Jr. (Bullis School, Potomac Maryland) will be on campus with one of his best friends, Rutgers WR/DB commit Mohamed Jabbie (South Brunswick). Haskins grew up in Highland Park, NJ and only moved to Maryland a few years ago, so there is a serious New Jersey connection with one of Rutgers top targets. In addition to Jabbie, whom he has known for years, Haskins is close with Jonathan Pollock, who he met at an all-star game a few years ago.
Get to see brogod tomorrow @mjabbie7

Haskins is one of Rutgers two top QB targets in the 2016 class, with Bergen Catholic's Jarrett Guarantano. Both are taking long looks at Rutgers and Ohio State, so where one decides to go (and when the decision comes) may affect the other's options. Guarantano is expected to decide in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
On Tuesday, the top tight end in the 2016 class, Philadelphia's Naseir Upshur, will be on campus. Palmyra, NJ receiver Kelvin Harmon will also be on campus Tuesday. Upshur has offers from all over the country, including most recently from Jim Harbaugh's Wolverines, and getting him on campus is a big deal. Harmon is one of the best receivers in a stacked New Jersey 2016 class, and he has a lot of love for Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights were his first offer, and he has since added two more, but expect that to change in the coming months, as he continues to raise his profile and dominate at camps and recruiting combines, like he did on Friday at the Beast of the East tournament.
Rutgers vs Michigan game should b interesting Tuesday .
