Kyle Flood likes his good news in bunches. Rutgers picked up its second commit of the day in 3* Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Florida) CB Jarius Adams. Adams is a 5'11" 180 lb. CB, who also had offers from Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Temple, and Bowling Green, among others.

Adams received his Rutgers offer on June 25, and is the first CB in Rutgers 2015 class. He impressed the Rutgers staff at a camp, and visited the school in June as part of a barnstorming trip to many of the schools in which he was interested. Adams' primary recruiters are DC Joe Rossi and DB Coach Darrell Wilson.
Fellow 2015 commit Floridian WR Rashad Blunt helped encourage Adams to join the Scarlet Knights. As he told Todderick Hunt:
"I've been talking to receiver Rashad Blunt," said Adams. "He was just saying that he really liked the school and he was gonna commit. And he ended up committing and wanted another Florida boy with him. And I felt that It would be a great school for me, too, so I chose it."
Adams' highlight tape shows impressive "suddenness" and the ability to close on a target in a hurry. He is also good at staying in a receiver's hip pocket to make pays on the ball, and is a hard-hitting open field tackler in run support or coverage of short-range pass plays. Adams looks like a great addition at a position of need in the 2015 class. Welcome to Rutgers Jarius!
