Recruiting never stops, and that notion was exemplified today by the verbal commitment of Elmwood Park (NJ) QB Michael Dare. Todderick Hunt of the Star-Ledger broke the rumor last night, hinting that Kyle Flood could have a 2015 signee ready to announce on National Signing Day. That rumor was found to be true, as Dare tweeted earlier today:
Proud to be the 1st NJ RU Commit of Rec. Class of '15 - F.A.M.I.L.Y. #CHOP

Brian Dohn had nice to say about Rutgers' newest QB:
Really like Michael Dare @Mike_Dare18 ...First saw him at #Rutgers camp and he had a nice release and good arm strength #ScoutNSD

Dare stands at 6'5" 190 lbs., so he definitely will have to do some bulking up his senior year. He had offers from Virginia and Boston College according to reports. We'll have to wait a bit to see where he lands in terms of star ratings, but Dare can definitely become a top recruit with a great senior season. You can check out his highlights here.
