Fresahman Jason Wright earned a spot on TopDrawerSoccer's Freshman Best XI Second Team. The Kingston, Jamaica native was a unanimous Big Ten All-Freshman Team member and he led Rutgers and the Big Ten in scoring with 25 points.

Season Record 9-2

One game over the last week, a 66-58 win over the Iona Gaels, didn't hurt the Knights in the rankings. The women remain at No. 17 for the third straight week in the Associated Press Poll.

While playing in New Rochelle, the team had an interesting discovery, as tweeted by Coach Stringer:

The women open Big Ten play before the New Year on the road at Indiana.
