2014 College Football TV Schedule Week 14: HATE WEEK

Make sure you have plenty of leftovers ready to go folks.

What makes every Thanksgiving holiday better? HATE. No, not the kind between family members during awkward gatherings, but the college football kind. Thanksgiving means hate week for most schools across the nation, and Rutgers attempts to build it with Randy Edsall's Terrapins. Where else can we see hate?

It starts on Turkey Day proper when the the post-realignment version of the Lone Star Showdown continues between unranked Texas and #5 TCU at 7:30 PM. Buckeye fans may want to tune into this one, as a potential loss here could be needed for any playoff hopes. At the same time, LSU and Texas A&M kickoff for one of the SEC's manufactured border war rivalries.

On Friday, hate week continues with a slew of tasty matchups. Farmageddon kickoffs at noon in Iowa City as Nebraska faces fellow corn child Iowa for a key B1G West battle. At 3:30 PM, the duel in the desert between #13 Arizona State and #11 Arizona could have huge ramifications on the Pac-12 South. And in primtime, Rutgers fans could be getting an early look at a potential bowl opponent when Virginia and Virginia Tech fight for Commonwealth bragging rights.

If you haven't had enough hate, Saturday is for you. The day starts early with The Game being played in Columbus this year. #6 Ohio State has an outside shot at a playoff berth while reeling Michigan needs a huge upset for a chance to go bowling in Brady Hoke's likely final year. At 3:30 PM, get more of your leftovers ready for a channel-changing marathon of games: Florida could stand behind Muschamp for a huge upset at #3 Florida State. The Egg Bowl kicks off with #4 Mississippi State clinging to the last playoff spot while #19 Ole Miss could spoil the season. Paul Bunyan's Axe will go to the winner of #18 Minnesota and #14 Wisconsin, but the bigger prize is a trip to the B1G Championship Game.

And finally, when you think you've had enough, you heat up even more turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes. Why? Because in primetime, we have the Iron Bowl. After last year's kick six, this one will be full of hate, and it's a chance to see Nick Saban eliminated from a title shot once again.

Happy Thanksgiving #CHOPNation!
