Who said Kyle Flood doesn't get four star recruits? He just gets them once they realize what a mistake it is for highly-rated recruits - particularly from NJ - to play for another school far from home.

JUCO transfer Greg Webb committed to the Scarlet Knights today, rumors of which started popping up on Monday.  Webb, a graduate of South Jersey powerhouse Timber Creek, was a 4* recruit at Defensive Tackle in the class of 2013.  Coming out of high school, Rivals rated Webb as the 9th best prospect in NJ and the 20th best DT in the nation.

Former Timber Creek teammate Myles Nash was quick to welcome him back to New Jersey.

Webb is a 6'2" 310 lb. behemoth of a D-lineman, who left the University of North Carolina football program in July after redshirting last year.  He is currently at Hutchinson Community College in Wichita, KS.  Starting next year, he will have three years to play three for the Knights.  Here are his impressive high school highlights:

For those keeping score, Webb is the third former 4* transfer to choose the Scarlet Knights in the last year, the others being safety Kiy Hester and QB Hayden Rettig.  Transfers Andrew Turzilli and Philip Nelson were rated as 3 star prospects coming out of high school.

Welcome Greg!
