One more week folks. Just one more game and we can say goodbye to this travesty of a season. 2013 is without a doubt a year to forget for Rutgers football, and we all get to bid adieu at High Point Solutions Stadium this Saturday night. Of course, if RU beats USF, the Scarlet Knights become bowl eligible and get a chance to extend this debacle for a couple of weeks. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up for debate. In any case, we'll get to see what the fan contingent will be. I've gotten many comments on Twitter regarding the bandwagon nature of the fans lately, that a lot of them have packed it in for the season. Will RU get a good showing for a night game at the Point?

Rutgers-USF gets the primetime treatment for the third year in a row, but this matchup has considerably less at stake. USF is playing for pride, while RU fights for a bowl bid. I'm sure some fans will want another disaster game to ice Kyle Flood's future in Piscataway, but I think it's important to continue the bowl streak. Maintaining bowl regularity is more important than you think, especially with B1G competition awaiting us in the not too distant future. Besides, I wouldn't worry about Flood's status - I have a feeling it will work itself out.
