Will it be Dodd or Nova this Saturday? Would you prefer neither? The program is regressing into a mediocre season, where the fans get to look forward to exotic locales like Birmingham, Alabama or New York City. The secondary lost another player this week as well, with Nadir Barnwell getting arrested for a DUI charge. I think it's safe to say that the Angry Rutgers Defensive Back Hating God is in full on rage mode, so I'd be worried if I played corner for the Scarlet Knights. Let's take a look at the stats for this Turnpike battle:
Profile
Temple Owls (1-7, 0-4) Last week: Lost @ SMU, 59-49
2012 Record: 4-7 (2-5 Big East)
Head Coach: Matt Rhule (1-7 overall)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Series: 19-16 Rutgers
Broadcast Info
Saturday, November 2 - 12:00 PM
Channel: ESPN3
Forecast: Partly cloudy, 60 degrees at kickoff, 0% chance of precipitation, 10 mph winds
Temple offers a more manageable offensive scheme for the Rutgers defense, but with all of the personnel loss at cornerback and the dumpster fire at QB, the Scarlet Knights are in for a rough finish to the season. P.J. Walker is playing really well as a freshman, throwing for 891 yards on 60.8% passing with nine touchdowns to only three interceptions. Not to mention he has the ability to run it himself. Meanwhile, QB is open between Dodd and Nova. Who do you think should get the start? Vote in the poll below!
