Rutgers football recruiting update for the week of 9/27

Committed Players

Blake Rankin is off to a great start.

Delon Stephenson is looking good for Sayreville.

Steve Longa is putting up Savon Huggins numbers at running back.

Carlton Agudosi is a big play machine, but you can say the same for Leonte Carroo and Ruhann Peele.

Uncommitted Players

Greg Schiano scouted NJ LB Quanzell Lambert in person during RU's bye week. Timber Creek also boasts junior prospects Greg Webb and Dajuan Drennon.

NJ ATH Devin Fuller dropped South Carolina.

It's Tuesday, so NJ CB Yuri Wright is looking at Michigan (before inevitably changing his list again tomorrow.)

NY DB Wayne Morgan is keeping an online diary.

'13 NJ DL Garrett Sickels keeps visiting Tennessee.

'13 NJ OL Brad Henson will visit BC.

'13 DE WR Andre Patton visited RU for the Ohio Game.

'13 PA TE Adam Breneman is visiting PSU.

'13 DC OL Derwin Gray is getting a lot of interest.

RU is among the programs talking to '13 PA DE Justin Moody on Facebook.

Tara Sullivan wonders whether conference reshuffling will hurt Rutgers when it comes to recruiting. Meh, depends what happens with the league. If the Big East doesn't take any more hits, then they'll keep their BCS bid, and things should be business as usual.

Watchlist: This is a section of this site's weekly recruiting posts featuring links to players that Rutgers may or may not be showing interest in, but has not yet offered.
