Rutgers football recruiting update for the week of 9/13

Committed Players

Steve Longa had a great opening week at RB.

Carlton Agudosi put up big numbers in a loss to Elizabeth.

Des Peoples sat out with an ankle sprain.

Ruhann Peele is playing RB for Linden.

Uncommitted Players

S Wayne Morgan is the best prospect in New York City this year.

NJ LB Quanzell Lambert visited PSU with some younger teammates, even though they're seemingly full-up at LB.

'13 NJ DL Tashawn Bower camped at Ohio State over the summer.

RU and WVU have offered '13 NJ LB Buddy Brown.

'13 NJ CB Eli Woodard looks like a big prospect.

Seems like there are a lot of early in-state '13 names, with another guy being Dejuan Drennon, who's teammates with Greg Webb and Lambert..

'13 NJ OL Brad Henson was another weekend visitor at PSU.

FL OL Duaron Williams tore his ACL, and with that injury his scholarship offers are in jeopardy.

BC will probably offer '13 NY QB Chris Laviano.

Purdue offered '13 PA TE Adam Breneman.

FL LB Patrick Jean committed to Louisville.

It's pretty weird to write a story about football recruiting in NYC and not mention Rutgers.

Watchlist: This is a section of this site's weekly recruiting posts featuring links to players that Rutgers may or may not be showing interest in, but has not yet offered.
