Uncommitted Players

NJ ATH Devin Fuller will take an unofficial to RU this weekend.

NJ LB Quanzell Lambert visited Northwestern last week, and has Iowa on tap.

'13 NJ WR Charlie Callinan planned to visit RU for the Pitt game.

'13 NJ LB Buddy Brown visited RU for the Ohio game.

RU offered '13 VA DL Jonathan Allen, and '14 MD LB Melvin Keihn.

'13 PA TE Adam Breneman grew up a PSU fan.

Joe Lefeged: Syracuse is negatively recruiting against Rutgers. Doesn't seem to be working out so well for them. Beating them was nice two weeks ago, but Keith Sargeant found a good quote from Robert Joseph (via Mike Larrow) to explain why the game really didn't matter all that much.

"He used to make a joke that when he got recruited by Syracuse, they said, ‘Why don’t you stay close to home?’ " Larrow said. "And he’d say, ‘Rutgers is two hours away from me. Syracuse is six. Close to home is Rutgers, even though it’s crossing state lines.’ "

PA RB Drew Harris committed to VT.

Watchlist: This is a section of this site's weekly recruiting posts featuring links to players that Rutgers may or may not be showing interest in, but has not yet offered.
