Rutgers/Marquette gamethread

Tonight is big. This is not UNC at Madison Square Garden, or Villanova on the road, neither of which were expected to be anywhere close. Marquette is a good team, but they're human. This would have been a classic RAC upset i nthe past, and likely will be over the next few years once the rebuilding process is fully underway.

Rutgers definitely has a fair chance if they play as well as they did against Villanova, but it will be difficult. A thin roster doomed them over the weekend and remains a problem. Forward Robert Lumpkins is back, but now reserve guard Austin Carroll is out.

If Rutgers can't win home games like this one, they may not have many other chances in a brutal Big East season.
