Check out the high school recruiting previews from the Asbury Park Press and Home News Tribune/Courier News. Lots of good info in both.
ATH Charles Davis helped Neptune thrash Bishop Ahr. FYI, it is really stupid that teams from Northern Middlesex County are playing teams from Monmouth County now instead of Union.
ATH Chevelle Buie is having trouble getting yards, but had a nose for the end zone in another Cocoa victory. They broke Abilene's winning streak in another out of state game.
RB Ben Martin ran for 134 yards and a TD in Absegami's victory over Egg Harbor.
LB Quentin Gause and Bishop Kearny were set to play a Canadian team.
It was a huge opener for TE Tyler Kroft.

Uncommitted Players
RB Savon Huggins destroyed St. Joe's of Philadelphia in a rout of a win for St. Peter's Prep. Bet Coach Infante thought he wouldn't have to deal with Prep any more after leaving Paramus Catholic. S Sheldon Royster didn't look too bad either. As for Savon:
"No leader right now," his father said. "A lot of people think he’s a lock for Rutgers but it’s all going to come down to how the teams play this season and how his visits go. If he knew where he wanted to go right now he’d commit, but things are still wide open."
OL Josue Matias on his recruitment:
The in-state Scarlet Knights, who appear poised to have a big haul from Northern New Jersey this season (they got a commitment from offensive tackle Keith Lumpkin of St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City last week), have made an impression on the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder.
“Rutgers is a good place, they are close and they have good people showing me the school,” he said. “They are recruiting me the hardest out of all the schools."
WR Miles Shuler led Long Branch over Colts Neck.
Is Bergen Catholic's Tanner McEvoy a quarterback?
NY DE Ishaq Williams has attracted the interest of Alabama. He's one of the best players in NYC - along with Al Page, Bam Reddish, and 2012 DB Wayne Morgan.
NJ TE Jack Tabb isn't sure about visiting Arkansas.
Does NJ DE Shilique Calhoun love football?
RU and BC have already offered 2012 Don Bosco WR Leonte Carroo.
2012 PA ATH Eugene Lewis is a new name.
Last week's game with FIU was understandably important for Florida recruiting. FL CB Jonathan Aiken will visit Rutgers and Illinois. Is Rutgers out on FL RB Tre Mason? 2012 FL OL John Theus is gaining interest.
Former Rutgers assistant Robert Jackson is the head coach at New Brunswick High.
FL DE Anthony Chickillo committed to Miami.
