Committed Players
Thankfully someone at the Asbury Park Press decided to print token stat lines for QB Mike Bimonte.
DE Kyle George has ten sacks on the year.
LB Andrew Campolottano played well in Bound Brook's last game of the season. He's going to wrestle at 215 pounds this year.
ATH Charles Davis has been out for a month with a knee injury.
Uncommitted Players
Savon Huggins-watch continues.
Huggins told Lemming earlier this week his final five are Notre Dame, USC, Rutgers, North Carolina and Pitt, and that he doesn't plan on announced his decision until national signing day on Feb. 2.
"Rutgers is really in the mix here," Lemming said. "Savon said he really likes (Rutgers coach) Greg Schiano, who talks to him on a weekly basis, sometimes more."
ND just took another RB commit, although that shouldn't matter too much. On a similar note, if you're rooting for UNC to collapse, their QB commit is switching to Virginia Tech and there could be more to come on that front.
NJ WR Miles Shuler visited Stanford last weekend, with Rutgers and Notre Dame on tap in the future.
NJ QB/ATH Tanner McEvoy has four visits planned.
He is set to see South Carolina December 10th, Michigan on the 17th, North Carolina January 7th and Rutgers January 21st.
Rutgers is the first offer for 2012 NJ LB Jazzmar Clax.
NJ TE Jack Tabb is back from his Michigan visit.
Still nada with NY DE Ishaq Williams.
PA OL/DL Brandon Clemons has an interesting personal story.
Rutgers is recruiting FL DE Chad Hannah the hardest. FL OG Kaleb Johnson still plans to visit Rutgers. Obviously, everyone's going after Miami commits now that Randy Shannon is out of a job.
After a few months of neglect, I updated the recruiting board offers, but still need to update the links info.
Watchlist: This is a section of this site's weekly recruiting posts featuring links to players that Rutgers may or may not be showing interest in, but has not yet offered.
Ashton Broyld, Herve Coby, Dillon Lucas, Kevin Monangai (2), Delon Stephenson, and DeVante Waugh.
