I'm again struggling with whether to rank Virginia Tech. The Hokies are clearly better than some of the other teams on this list, but retain the scarlet letter of losing to James Madison. Georgia Tech has a similar problem, having an outlier loss to a bad Kansas team. Texas is in the same boat.
Please again be aware that I do not care what happened last week, and rank based on overall resume and perceived team strength. Schedules can make team records very misleading. I am still half-tempted to rank Oregon State at 3-3 for example, who will probably finish the year at 8-9 wins and another solid season. Oklahoma State hasn't been impressive, and I will only consider ranking them if they beat Nebraska.
