There were several prospects in attendance for Monday's game, including a few 2011 guys. Previously known offers included RB Savon Huggins and S Sheldon Royster from the loaded St. Peter's Prep team, RB Charles Davis from Neptune, TE Tanner McEvoy from Bergen Catholic, and DBs Kyshoen Jarrett and Terrell Chestnut and RB Jameel Poteat out of PA. New offers include Seton Hall Prep DE Connor Wujciak, Roxbury lineman Angelo Mangiro,Virginia athlete Dominique Terrell, and South Carolina WR Hakeem Flowers. There are probably others too, especially out of state.
I've posted about a few other 2011 prospects over the past few weeks, and will try to pass along more articles as I see them. Two Connecticut players that don't have RU offers yet are LB Connor Hanratty and DT Tommy Jordan.
Chas Dodd and Byrnes roll on, with 6 touchdowns last week.
Jordan Thomas is clutch.
Star-Ledger: Fonti, Foose best linemen in NJ. They like Tartacoff and Tejay Johnson at DB.
T.J. Clemmings: still not a Pittsburgh commit.
He did say, however, that as of now Pittsburgh is not the future gridiron home of Clemmings Jr.
"I don’t think so," said Clemmings Sr. When asked if his son is Pitt-bound.
Great news on South Carolina back Mustafa Greene.
Green is originally from New York and going back home intrigues him. "Rutgers is back home and they've got a real good program," said Green. Green rushed for over 200 yards in the Yellow Jackets season opener averaging over ten yards a carry and finding pay dirt twice.
Corey Brown is sick of the recruiting process.
Greg Schiano spent his Friday watching DT Sharrif Floyd in person. Nittany Network reports that Floyd doesn't plan to take an official to RU, but he does change his list up practically every day.
Florida RB James White doesn't have RU in his top four.
Hit up Stumpy's blog tonight (9/8) for a chat if, by chance, you have any interest in talking Shore football.
