Yesterday brought word of contract negotiations between Tampa Bay and Zuttah. It appears, as I predicted, that signing Joe Flacco was Baltimore's top priority. Their other draft picks were sitting on the backburner until that was resolved. Now comes word that Rice may be close:
The Ravens have discussed contract parameters with second-round running back Ray Rice, the 55th overall pick out of Rutgers. No contract is imminent, but Rice is expected to be at training camp on time.
