Boston College Football Updates: Many New Offers, No New Commitments
Not much is known about kicker Ryan Norton, other than that he has a monster leg. Kickoffs were a huge issue for this team last year, especially with Ross Krautman suffering from a nagging injury last year. If Norton can put the ball in the endzone consistently, it will be a huge advantagae for SU.
Julian Whigham played some of the best competition in the entire country this year at Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and had an incredibly impressive season at safety in the sunshine state.
Ben Lewis, a wide receiver/linebacker/special teams aficionado out of Middletown, MD, was one of my favorite Syracuse prospects to write about because he literally did everything on the field. He ran the ball, he caught the ball, he sacked the QB, he ran back punts...you never knew what Lewis would give you in a given game.
Staten Island wide receiver Alvin Cornelius was perhaps the best offensive player in New York City this year.
George Morris was one of the most coveted players in this class for Syracuse. The 6'1", 190 lb halfback comes to Syracuse with the possibility of making an immediate impact for the Orange.
Marcus Coleman may be one of the least talked about members of this 2012 recruiting class for Syracuse, but the defensive tackle from New Jersey has good size and is coming off of a great senior season.
