Kersey is a former Rutgers commitment who was originally part of a package deal with Gerald Hodges. It wouldn't seem particularly likely that he would come to RU now to play football, especially if he can't crack the depth chart at PSU, but Schiano can always get a first-hand scouting report from Joe Paterno. Update: talk is that Kersey will not receive a release to RU, Pitt, or Temple, and his likely destinations are Cincy or UConn. Don't think Schiano would have even taken him, but who knows.
