Is a fantastic June in recruiting about to get better? Rutgers is hosting its 7 v 7 passing camp today, with a bevy of talented players showing their stuff in the rain. Todderick Hunt captured #CHOPNation's attention with a tweet hinting at a possible commitment from British Columbia athlete Chase Claypool, who will be on campus until tomorrow .

Shawn from the Rivals crew was similarly impressed:

Claypool is a 4 star according to ESPN and Scout (Rivals and 247 have him at 3), and stands 6'5" 212 pounds. He could be the TE in Rutgers 2016 class. Claypool has offers from Arizona, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Washington. Rutgers was among the first schools to offer the Canadian prospect, and appears to be doing well here.
Claypool's hudl tape is very impressive. His combination of speed, ball skills and the ability to punish would-be tacklers makes him a unique prospect. Stick with On the Banks as we follow his recruitment this weekend and beyond.
