The (likely) final recruit for the 2014-15 basketball season has made things official. Scarlet Knights website announced that center Shaquille Doorson has signed his scholarship papers and will be ready to play next year.
Said Eddie Jordan:
"We are extremely happy to welcome Shaquille into the program. He is a very bright young man who communicates well and has a drive to succeed. He complements his size with impressive agility, which enables him to run the floor and share the ball well. He is also a very gifted rebounder and will certainly be a defensive presence."
Doorson joins a class of Ryan Johnson, Mike Williams, Ibrahima Diallo and DJ Foreman to help out next season.
Rutgers is deep at the center position. More breakdowns to come on On the Banks soon.
