Rutgers Men's Lacrosse: Big East post season honors

And you thought we weren't a part of the Big East anymore, didn't you?

The Big East Conference announced its all conference teams and four RU players made second team. Rutgers placed A Scott Bieda, D Nick Contino, FO Joe Nardella, and M Anthony Terranova on the Second Team All-BIG EAST squad.

The team, seeded fourth in the BE Tournament, takes on top-seeded Denver (they're in the east, right?) in the semifinals on Saturday, May 1 at Villanova.  Game time is 4:30.

While talent may be part of the issue, it is interesting that no RU player made first team.  Of course, this is Rutgers' last year with the conference before moving to the B1G next season. Just sayin'.
