Rutgers-Penn State FB: Headed for Primetime

US PRESSWIRE

High Point Solutions Stadium will play host to two Big Ten primetime games this season on BTN.

Heads up, sports fans. BTN released its primetime schedule and Rutgers will have two games at home at night.

Penn State @ Rutgers - September 13, 8 PM

This game needs no introduction. The team from Pennsylvania will serve as the Scarlet Knights' first Big Ten opponent in the inaugural season. Expect a sellout for the pure excitement of opening up in the B1G, in Piscataway, at night.

Michigan @ Rutgers - October 4, 7PM

This is designated as the annual blackout game by the athletic department. Depending on how well Rutgers does entering this matchup, hype for this game could approach or even surpass the Nitty Kitties game.

The Penn State game on September 13 (8 pm) and the Michigan game on October 4 (7 pm). Rutgers is the only Big Ten team that will play host to two BTN night tilts.

TSIP will try to dominate the crowd.  "They travel well" is a nice phrase but Rutgers fans need to be there - in force! No selling those season tix to the highest bidder.  BTN in Primetime? It has to be a sea of red!
