The AAC actually ranks ahead of the ACC according to the survey, while RU surprisingly comes in as the 7th best fan base and brand equity within the American (SMU comes in first). It's mostly based on relative attendance numbers and potential, so take the rankings with a grain of salt (maybe a boulder).
