I'm new here, but it seems pretty evident that most fans are focusing on football and basketball. And that's fine. But, friends, we are going B1G, and that means every sport counts. And they mean something in the B1G.
As a point of information, scarletknights.com just reported that "the Rutgers wrestling program’s 2013 recruiting class is ranked No. 13 in the country according to InterMat’s rankings. The class consists of 11 wrestlers, including two grapplers with multiple state titles and eight members that have placed in a state tournament at least once."
And that sounds great (it is) until you look at the InterMat rankings and see that 6 of the 12 teams ahead of Rutgers are from the B1G. That includes the top ranked team, Michigan. Meatgrinder football schedule carries over to the mat.
Just to add fuel to the fire, another point of information: wrestling doesn't exist at Louisville. Just sayin'.
