An ugly win is still better than a loss....
Heading into the last bye week of the season, Rutgers needs one more win to become bowl eligible over the last four games. Rutgers has a good chance of beating both UCONN and USF, will probably be an underdog against Cincinnati at home, and will be a big underdog on the road against UCF.
I think most would agree that Rutgers has not met the fans expectations heading into this year. The Houston homecoming game was a big eye opener, and shone a bright light on this teams flaws.
With a bye week, it's a good time to make some predictions.
Where will Rutgers finish? I think we have a shot at eight wins. We should take care of business against UCONN and USF. I think we have a shot at home against Cincy. I'll be traveling to the UCF game. I think it will be ugly.
What bowl game are we looking at? Seems like the Pinstripe Bowl seems to be the consensus against Notre Dame.
What does this mean for next year? A lot of speculation about coaching changes, most notably DC and QB.
Does anyone know what Rutgers $ share in the B1G in year one? Playing AD, what level of coaches can we afford with that money?
