Some new comments from Bill O'Brien and Michael Mauti are completely beyond the pale. It's time for Penn State to punch back? They're facing adversity? I want to vomit.
Mauti's comments weren't as horrible, but still pretty bad. Plenty of other schools graduate 80% of their players. And yes, a Penn State degree is devalued now. Their program, if not their entire school, was built on a grand fiction. Many people, including myself, now blanket refuse to even consider hiring Penn State alumni owing to last year's riot in support of Paterno, and their subsequent overwhelming denial to accept Paterno's many crimes, and even outright hostility in response.
