Rutgers finds a QB recruit for the year
Rutgers has reportedly been eyeing Long Island quarterback Chris Laviano for some time. The interest was reciprocated, with Laviano seemingly on the verge of a commit for some time now, but he simply wanted to make sure that he was comfortable with the decision before pulling the trigger. Look, everyone wants things to come easy, but they rarely do. Rutgers wanted Laviano, and gladly took his commit today. In their estimation, he was the the best option without hesitation. Hence, there's no reason to be anything other than happy with this commit. After years of shaky QB depth, Rutgers has a lot of underclassmen in the mix now. Just by playing the odds with a number of solid prospects, you figure that one of them will have to pan out, right?
