Rutgers suing Big East

Among the allegations: that the Big East never compensated Rutgers for losing a TCU home game (what were they spending the money on then? More football studies for Villanova?), and that the Big East caved on Syracuse, Pitt, TCU, and WVU, so the exit fee provisions are meaningless. Overall, it's just a step in the negotiation process to get Rutgers in the Big Ten a year early. Rutgers also is not happy that the Big East upped its exit fee a month ago to $10 million dollars. Update: Keith Sargeant explains what exactly happened with the Big East re-upping its exit fee. In other Big Ten news, Rutgers just joined the CIC.
