An obvious candidate to go is the other road game at Navy given Big East commissioner Mike Aresco wanting to add the Midshipmen to the conference a year sooner. Maryland is a good additional as a geographic regional rival. Maryland is a rich recruiting state, so both programs should get a lot out of this series. As for the game itself, who's to say: Randy Edsall is doing a wonderful job of destroying Terrapin football on his own.
One other thought: with the ACC switching back to 8 game conference schedules to accommodate Notre Dame, you might see other ACC teams with openings. That's tricky, because some programs (BC, Cuse, Pitt) aren't great matches with Rutgers, but maybe we can find another game further south if another OOC opponent is needed.
