The Big East is scrambling faster the Austro-Hungarians after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. We saw how well that ended for everyone involved. As you know the Big East football schools met tonight at the Grand Hyatt in NYC for a meeting about what the future looks like for the conference and to determine if there even is one. From Rutgers point of view, that future looks “very good, certainly from our standpoint,” said President McCormick as he exited the hotel. Tim Pernietti asserted that “It was a positive meeting.
