No one's happy with Andrea Adelson

One of the issues inherent with ranking eight teams on a variety of criteria is that it is inevitable, most likely, that fans of the seven teams not ranked #1 are going to be unhappy. (Spoiler alert: UConn is going to be far and away the worst football team in the Big East this year.) Which is fine. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, especially when it comes to content that mainly exists to fill a summer void. The very idea with these rankings may be to spur discussion, but getting too worked up over them is silly, with Syracuse fans working themselves into a tizzy over Adelson's supposed deep-seated bias against the Orange. Wait, what? Hasn't she been overly generous in ranking their position groups? Didn't she just say that Syracuse was New York City's team because of their historical success, despite the fact that their football team has turned into a non-entity in the region? That constitutes anti-Syracuse bias? Really? How can any fan have enough free time to worry about something like that? That being said, Rutgers football is a pretty safe bet for eight total wins/four conference wins this fall, and everybody who doesn't agree with that statement is clearly wrong.
