Rutgers athletics falling behind in social media?

+

Someone alert Jon Newman. SportsFanGraph has a new metric where they measure each DI athletic department's number of followers on Twitter and Facebook. Rutgers ranks 71st in the combined rankings, which is a little underwhelming considering some of the programs ranked above RU. As we all now, these sorts of popularity contests are the only fair way to measure any entity's intrinsic worth and value. How can you help? If you have accounts for these services, follow the official Rutgers athletics accounts. If you don't, then sign up (and follow this site on Facebook and Twitter while you're at it.) If Twitter is good for anything, it's in staying abreast of Coach Schiano's random, karma-taunting tweets that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with football recruiting commitments. h/t: Troy Nunes Is an Absolute Magician
