Sweet Sixteen Night One Open Thread

Note: use this thread for general discussion of the night's games. The below paragraph is from Dave.

After a great opening weekend, the NCAA tournament picks up with the Sweet Sixteen tonight and tomorrow.  The UConn SDSU and  BYU Florida games have a lot in common as it's one player (Kemba Walker or Jimmer Fredette) taking on great teams.  Does Walker still have gas left in the tank?  We asked that question last week and the answer was a resounding yes.  Don't bet against him tonight.  Butler plays the defensive minded Wisconsin team tonight.  Meanwhile, two teams who have survived tough battles take on each other in Duke and Arizona.  Can the Wildcats stop Kyrie Irving and Nolan Smith?  Looking forward to hearing your thoughts below.

Both games are crazy close

And Walker is starting to feel it, isn’t he?

What a pleasure tonight's been already

We keep asking if Kemba’s got gas left to help carry this team, and boy does he keep responding. Fredette vs Walker in the near future?

If it's Fredette and Walker

The internet might explode. OT in the BYU FL game. What a tournament this year has been. Best ever?

Haha, I agree

Too bad it looks like game over for BYU. Watching this game as a basketball fan, I was really hoping for a closer finish, and I admit I was pushing for Jimmer. Kemba lived up to his name though with that performance and those late foul shots. If the Sweet Sixteen started this way, we only have that much more excitement ahead.

Hmm, ten point lead

Can’t help but to feel like this one’s gonna go down to the wire. Hard to count out Duke, and the Tourney works its magic that way. How about Butler right now? I like them a lot.
