Pitt OG Lucas Nix was knocked out of the Panthers win over South Florida with a knee injury. A subsequent MRI showed no damage (which is a good thing). His status for the upcomming Rutgers game is unknown however (which is also a good thing). Pitt coach Todd Graham said, "Lucas will undergo an intense rehabilitation program and we are hopeful he will be back in action soon." "Rehabilitation program" and "hopeful he will be back in action soon" do not sound like a one week thing to me. Pitt is already somewhat short-handed as it lost highly-regarded OL Chris Jacobson during the loss to Iowa.
