With the addition of TCU into the Big East, Oklahoma might suddenly have a free OOC slot, as they were previously scheduled to play the Horned Frogs out of conference. Assuming TCU does not honor their scheduled game in Piscataway next fall, would it make sense to contact the Sooners as a possible replacement? The idea isn't that implausible considering that the Sooners might be able to play a road game. However, if that is the case, they might well find plenty of interest across the country. Scheduling for Rutgers will be very difficult until a clearer picture emerges of the the broader conference picture.
