Rutgers comes in at #11, which is about what could have been expected with no Kadeem Jack. What's really interesting is that six of the top eight teams have football programs, which serves to illustrate the growing split between the haves and the have nots even in the Big East. Athletic departments without access to football revenue are struggling to compete in this day and age, and that is only going to be exacerbated going forward. Thus, why the likes of Providence are fighting to their bitter end as everyone else seeks to smash it and earn what is rightfully theirs. Collective sacrifice makes sense. Putting your ambitions on hold to benefit a a small collective - that is not viable over the long term, as the events of the past few months have borne out.
