Camden, Newark on the move in newest U.S. News law rankings

They're both tied at 80 this year. That's an improvement for Newark, which rose 7 spots from 87, but Camden fell three from 77. Seton Hall improved from 77 to 72.

I'm not going to say any more, because I'm NB-centered and hate the way that the law and business schools are parcelled out instead of being concentrated in Piscataway. By the way, business is up two spots from 59 to 57.

history lesson for today

Yeah BS, great move to SBNation, been reading you for the last 18 months..the layout and readablity is much better. Just a little history lesson on your comment out the parcelling out of the schools. Rutgers did not have a law school until it merged/aborbed the University of Newark in 1945. That was one of the major reasons Rutgers did it. Also, ifrc, the same was true for the business school at Newark. Keep up the great work and remember we’re all on the bank whether it the Raritan, Passiac or Delaware..

Rutgers Football

In 1960, when my “father sent me to ol’ Rutgers” we played such teams as Princeton, Colgate, and Penn. Now we run with the big dogs, playing West Virginia, Louisville, and other teams in the conference. Rutgers has come a long way in football. A few years back we had running backs referred to at “Thunder and Lightening” who made yardage and excited the faithful. Recently we have played in nationally televised bowl games and may again this year. Go Rutgers.
