Fred Hill Era Gone, Rutgers on the NCAA bubble?

With Fred Hill gone, it looks like the Rutgers basketball program has been transformed. No longer are the Scarlet Knights dropping every other game on the pre-conference schedule. In fact, the two losses they have were really tough, low-upside road games that most schools wouldn't schedule.

This metamorphosis is rewarded in the latest publication of the Big East Basketball Super Rankings at BigEastCountry.com.

Now, can Rutgers survive the Big East schedule with a record of .500 or better? If they can (and close out the non-conference slate with wins), the Scarlet Knights will do something they hardly ever do... punch a ticket to the big dance.
