Rutgers football recruiting update for the week of 10/05

Committed Players

Hooray for Jonathan Aiken.

Can all Manalapan articles please include Mike Bimonte's full stat line for games? Now Mike is focused on recruiting future teammates.

Chevelle Buie is really heating up.

Tyler Kroft is looking good.

Bound Brook can't catch a break, this time with Andrew Campolattano fumbling.

Quentin Gause is stuck on a young team.

It was just 48 yards this week for Charles Davis.

Ben Martin missed another game injured.

Uncommitted Players

Savon Huggins didn't play much in a Prep blowout.

It was the rare off game for Miles Shuler on the ground.

Rutgers was the first offer for 2012 ATH Devin Fuller.

NY ATH Brandon "Bam" Reddish wants to wait until after the season before committing to a school. NY DE Ishaq Williams is looking at the same top three. New York City has a few football prospects to watch next year.

Rutgers has offered 2012 PA OL J.J. Denman. PSU is starting to show interest in PA DT Delvon Simmons. 2012 PA TE Colin Thompson added a Pitt offer.

Rutgers has offered 2012 MD ATH Ronald Darby.

FL DE/LB Ramik Wilson is set on four official visits, which don't include Rutgers.

Once again last weekend it was time for the rivalry that New Jersey public high school football teams love to hate. Don Bosco pounded Bergen Catholic, with Mike Teel and many other relatively big names in attendance. Bosco apparently wants to hold the game at Rutgers Stadium in the future. Tanner McEvoy did look pretty good in BC's spread option-y offense though.

Watchlist: This is a section of this site's weekly recruiting posts featuring links to players that Rutgers may or may not be showing interest in, but has not yet offered.

Davonte Allen, Ronald "Duke" Baines, Kody Bardin, Grant Heyman, Quanzell Lambert, Chris Muller, Donta Pollock, Tevin ShawMike Strizak, and Brent Wilkerson.
